We are interested in someone who can help develop effective newsletters and blogs about our programs our students and staff. Are you a Facebook or YouTube video genius? YesLiberia needs a very creative, enthusiastic and motivated person to strategize and create weekly organic videos that can help us get the word about our organization and ways that people can take action and get involved.

YesLiberia focuses on helping to empower young people in Liberia through education. We have a “Sponsor A Student” program to spotlight in unique ways. This virtual intern role requires 5-10 hours per week which includes a bi-weekly staff meeting.

We need an energetic and creative-minded person to help us find ways to raise awareness for our “Sponsor A Student” program. Many children were absent from class from over a year in Liberia due to the Ebola epidemic. The loss of loved ones and the lack of employment opportunities have caused countless children to drop out of school for not being able to pay their tuition. Our program helps with this.

In this role, you will strategize to spread awareness online or in your local communities to help us give Liberian children the gift of education. Previous marketing, crowdfunding or PR experience is preferable for this role, but not required.

We’re launching a new campaign to provide unconventional courses for existing students and non-students in Liberia, and it would be great if you were a part of it as a Fundraising Support Representative for only four months (or more).

Getting started is easy to do. We’ll give you all the tools and training you need– including walking you through the process. With your help, we can ensure youths the pathways to providing for their families in this technology-focused century.

By becoming a Fundraising Support Representative for YESLIBERIA INC, you will help more youths within your comfort zone and at your own pace or schedule. You’ll give youths the pathways to providing for their families in this technology-focused century. We will create an online platform for you and assign one of our staff to support your efforts, answer your questions, have weekly or bi-weekly scheduled calls with you (if you want to). There is only ONE requirement for becoming an Fundraising Support Representative: you MUST tell people within or outside your network what you’re doing and why you are doing it. Like our existing Fundraising Support Representatives, we will write a story about your efforts in our end-of-campaign newsletter.

DESCRIPTIONS: YesLiberia seeks an experienced Crowdfunding Intern or Volunteer to help us launch and manage our upcoming crowdfunding campaign. This person will work remotely from his/her home within his/her preferred schedule. You will work with existing staff members to develop, launch, and effectively manage one or two crowdfunding campaigns for 2015. Prior nonprofit experience is not required, but we prefer a candidate with experience in the role or responsibilities mentioned above.The key responsibilities are:
1. Help devise PR strategies and key messages for the Crowdfunding campaigns.
2. Instruct, and manage staff to help the campaign reach its funding goals.
3. Update existing board, staff, and supporters on the campaign’s progress and challenges
4. Work with YesLiberia’s graphic designer to enhance the crowdfunding campaign and attract supporters
5. Respond to supporters questions and media inquiries, if necessary

DESCRIPTIONS: YesLiberia Inc. has a vacancy for A Board Facilitator who will work remotely from his/her home, within his/her preferred schedule. If you are an experienced professional who understands the importance of group discussions, providing instructions and explaining process/procedures, we invite you to consider volunteering with us as a Board Facilitator.

The word “facilitate” comes from the French word “facile”, which means “easy”. As a board facilitator, making things easy means you will help the board effectively discuss issues, make decisions or solve problems. You will keep the board moving, and always towards its stated goals. While the board focuses on the task, you will focus not only on the process, but also the people. This is not a board membership position; therefore you are NOT expected to meet any financial donations goals. However, your role should focus on helping the board understand the importance of fundraising and voluntarily help the board fundraise. You will be responsible for updating the board before meetings, facilitating the board during meetings, ensuring assigned tasks are completed timely by the individuals they were assigned to, communicating frequently with all board members, especially the President, Fundraising Coordinator, and Secretary. You will also help with planning our annual board retreats.
